- Open a cygwin console window
- Start here http://linuxcommand.org/lc3_lts0010.php Read this page about a Linux 'Shell'... then click "next" at the bottom of the page
- open
a Google Doc and Take some screen shots of what you did on each page
while using Cygwin and doing the labs and examples in the link

Start with the page "What Is 'The Shell'?"
and end with completing the page "Manipulating Files"
On
each page try out the commands and take some screen shots and save them
to a google doc so I can see you actually read and tried the
commands...

all students should be able to logon and run this lesson. All students
should have headphones, and work independently. Please keep them
working and ask them to practice what they are learning in both the
lesson and the Cygwin dialog window.)
- Python Level 2 (3-4 lessons) from Try Python Spend 30-40 min really learning these 2 lessons. There will be a Quiz on Monday
